Going to the Bahamas on a Gulfstream isn't just for the jet set. Gulfstream International Group, through its Gulfstream International Airlines subsidiary, provides service between Florida and the Bahamas with a fleet of about 35 turboprop aircraft. It serves about two dozen destinations overall. The regional airline, no relation to high-end business jet manufacturer Gulfstream Aerospace, flies primarily under the Continental Connection brand on behalf of Continental Airlines. It also operates as a code-sharing partner of carriers such as United, Northwest, and Copa Airlines and provides charter services. In addition to its airline operations, Gulfstream International Group runs a pilot-training school.
