Gordon Food Service (GFS) is a leading foodservice supplier in North America with more than 15 distribution centers in the US and Canada. It offers more than 16,000 food and non-food products (both nationally branded and private-label items) to some 45,000 customers in 15 US states and throughout Canada. It serves schools, restaurants, and other institutions. The company also sells food and supplies through more than 120 GFS Marketplace wholesale stores, which are open to the public, in five Midwestern states and Florida. Isaac VanWestenbrugge started the family-owned business in 1897.
