It manufactures its products (predominantly marketed under the Goodman, Amana, and Quietflex brand names) at facilities in Texas and Tennessee. Founded by Harold Goodman in 1982, the company is a subsidiary of Goodman Global, Inc., which was bought by investment company Hellman & Friedman in early 2008.
