The company manufactures a wide range of indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures; electrical circuit protection and connection devices, including sockets, switches, dimmers, door chimes, and grid systems; and HVAC equipment, such as air conditioners, hand dryers, extractor fans, and oil-filled radiators. It has also introduced a line of closed-circuit camera systems, both wired and wireless, for use in home security. Founded in 1956 as Great Eastern Trading Co., GET Group was acquired in late 2006 by Schneider Electric for nearly £44 million.
