Genmab Company Description
Genmab analyzes genomes in its lab. The biotech company creates and develops human antibodies to treat such conditions as rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory diseases, as well as lymphoma and other cancers. It has assembled a portfolio of products under its HuMax brand that are in different stages of development, ranging from pre-clinical to phase III trials. It has six products in clinical trials. In addition to developing its HuMax products, Genmab has been working with several international pharmaceutical and biotech companies to create products for infectious diseases. Partners include Amgen, Medarex, Roche, and Sequenom. The company was founded in 1999.
