Fountain Powerboat Industries builds sport boats, sport fishing boats, and express cruisers for aquatic speedracers with deep pockets. Overall, the company produces nearly a dozen Fountain-branded models, which range in length from 33 feet to more than 47 feet, and in speed from about 78 to 100-plus miles per hour. It offers, as well, several sports boats under its Baja brand acquired from rival Brunswick Corporation. For the US Navy, US Coast Guard, and other US and foreign government agencies, the company makes a line of interceptor boats. In early 2010 Fountain Powerboat emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, reformed as a private company largely owned by Liberty Associates.
