Fisher's products include valve positioners, steam conditioning equipment, ball valves, regulators, oil and gas control equipment, and sliding stem valves and actuators. It maintains operations in the US as well as in Asia and Europe. Fisher Controls dates back to the late 19th century and was family-controlled until sold to Monsanto in 1969; the company became a part of Emerson in 1992.
