Fidelity National Information Services Company Description
Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) provides software, outsourcing, and information technology consulting for the financial services and mortgage industries. For banks and other financial institutions, the division offers software for lending, community and wholesale banking, customer relationship management, data management, and e-business. For mortgage lenders, FIS offers billing and customer care, data and service order exchange, and mortgage servicing applications. FIS was formed in 2003, when Fidelity National Financial (FNF) bought ALLTEL's information services division. FNF merged FIS with credit and debit processor Certegy to form a publicly traded company in 2006.
