Overview
Compact Fiats just might give Mexico's PEMEX a run for its money. Fiat Auto de México sells Fiat cars and diesel-powered light commercial trucks at about 20 dealerships across Mexico. Its 10 models of cars range from the newly reintroduced Fiat 500 coupe to the popular sporty four-door Panda. Fiat also sells three models of diesel-powered light commercial trucks called the Ducato. Fiat rolled out its vehicles to Mexico in 2003. The cars are manufactured and imported from Fiat Automóveis in Brazil. The company also provides financing from one to five years. In 2007 Fiat sold about 3,300 vehicles in Mexico.
