FHLB Indianapolis Company Description
Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis is one of 12 regional banks in the Federal Home Loan Bank System established by Congress in 1932. It provides funding for residential mortgages and community development loans to about 420 member financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, insurance companies, and thrifts in Indiana and Michigan. It also provides support services such as risk management, securities safekeeping, and funds transfers. Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis is cooperatively owned by its member financial institutions.
