Overview

Ferrellgas Partners' flame is burning brightly as the second-largest US retail marketer of propane, behind AmeriGas. The company sells about 923 million gallons of propane a year to 1 million industrial, commercial, and agricultural customers in all 50 states. It operates more than 880 distribution locations, and its delivery fleet includes about 4,460 trucks and trailers. The Blue Rhino unit operates a propane cylinder-exchange business throughout the US. Ferrellgas also trades propane and natural gas, markets wholesale propane, provides liquid natural gas storage, and markets chemical feedstock.
