Ferguson Enterprises is part of the pipeline for pipes. It is the US's largest wholesale distributor of plumbing supplies, pipes, valves, and fittings. It also is a major distributor of heating, waterworks (water hydrants and meters), bathrooms and appliances, safety equipment, and tools to professional contractors and industry. It has about 1,400 locations throughout the US, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Its customers include plumbing contractors, home owners, air conditioning dealers, the government, and irrigation and fire suppression equipment installers. Ferguson, which was formed in 1953, is a subsidiary of Wolseley, the world's #1 plumbing and heating equipment distributor.
