Fairfield University is a Jesuit (Catholic) institution with an enrollment of more than 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students. It offers 33 majors and 30 graduate degree programs through six schools, which comprise The College of Arts and Sciences; the Charles F. Dolan School of Business; the School of Nursing; the School of Engineering; the Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions, and University College. The school is also a Division I school for men's and women's basketball and other sports. Fairfield University has one campus in Fairfield, Connecticut, and was founded in 1942.
