Fairfield Residential Company Description
Affordable housing need not look like affordable housing. That's the challenge for construction company Fairfield Residential, which renovates working-class apartments so that they mimic luxury complexes. The firm has built more than 73,000 multifamily residential units (both affordable and upscale), served as the general contractor for 66 million sq. ft. of residential property, and developed master-planned communities totaling 2,000 acres in Texas and California, where it develops the majority of its properties. It also builds university student housing in the Southeast and provides property management services to more than 130 properties across 14 states. Mitsubishi Corp. owns 17% of the firm.
