Fairchild Company Description

The Fairchild Corporation aims to keep those who prefer two wheels to four safe with its Fairchild Sports USA (FSUSA) line of protective clothing, helmets, and accessories for motorcyclists. FSUSA also makes private-label items for Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, and Honda. Fairchild Corporation also owns a 49% stake in some 95 PoloExpress retail shops in Germany and Switzerland that sell motorcycle clothing, helmets, and accessories as well as camping gear. Ailing Fairchild filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in March 2009 and sold its Banner Aerospace group of businesses to Greenwich AeroGroup in June 2009.
