EXOR Company Description

Controlled by the wealthy Agnelli family through parent firm Giovanni Agnelli and C., holding company EXOR (formerly IFI - Istituto Finanziario Industriale) owns stakes in a variety of enterprises. The company owns about 30% of automotive giant Fiat (which the Agnellis founded and still control); 60% of one of Italy's top soccer clubs, Juventus; more than 70% of US real estate giant Cushman & Wakefield; some 15% of Swiss testing equipment manufacturer SGS; and about a quarter of Sequana Capital, which owns European papermakers Arjowiggins and Antalis. EXOR owns 100% of Italy-based Alpitour, which operates tours and hotels.
