Estes Express Lines is a multiregional less-than-truckload (LTL) freight hauler. (LTL carriers consolidate freight from multiple shippers into a single trailer.) The company operates a fleet of about 6,600 tractors and 22,800 trailers from a network of about 200 terminals throughout the US. Estes Express offers service in Canada through ExpressLINK alliance partner TST Overland Express; it works with other companies to offer service in the Caribbean and in Mexico. Founded by W. W. Estes in 1931, the company is owned and operated by the Estes family.
