Overview
Putting hospitality into hospitals is the goal of Erdman Company (formerly Marshall Erdman & Associates), a leading design/build group focused on health care facilities. With six regional offices, the company has built more than 5,000 facilities across the US. It offers a full range of design, planning, and construction services. Erdman also provides real estate development and property management services. Health care real estate investment trust (REIT) Cogdell Spencer acquired the former Marshall Erdman & Associates for some $247 million in 2008. Frank Lloyd Wright collaborator and protégé Marshall Erdman founded Marshall Erdman & Associates in 1951.
