The real estate investment trust (REIT) owns and operates lifestyle-oriented residential properties aimed at retirees, vacationers, and second home owners. Other properties also focus on providing affordable housing for families. It leases developed areas for factory-built homes, cottages, cabins, and recreational vehicles. The REIT's portfolio includes some 310 properties containing 112,000 lots in 30 states and Canada. Its properties are similar to site-built residential subdivisions, with centralized entrances, utilities, gutters, curbs, and paved streets.
