EPRI Company Description
The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) knows there's more to electricity than putting a plug in a socket. The institute consists of investor-owned and government-owned utility companies, as well as other industry representatives. EPRI is a not-for-profit research consortium that organizes and funds collaborative research. The organization identifies and works on issues related to electricity generation, delivery, and use, including questions related to environmental protection. EPRI maintains offices in China, Japan, and Spain, as well as in the US. More than 10% of the organization's members are located outside the US. EPRI was founded in 1973.
