Along with sister subsidiaries HomeLogic and Sunfire, ELAN seamlessly integrates audio, video, phone, and third-party devices. Products include touch and multi-room controllers, video systems, speakers, amplifiers, intercom systems, and a system to integrate the separate devices. ELAN distributes its lineup through select dealers and distributors in some 65 countries worldwide. Parent company NTK Holdings filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, along with its subsidiaries, in October 2009, quickly emerging in December.
