Overview
EGB owns and operates two gourmet food outlets in the Dallas metro area under the eatZi's Market & Bakery banner. The take-out restaurants offer chef-prepared foods along with pastries, and baked goods. The stores also carry a wide selection of wines, cheeses, and other products. In addition, EatZi's provides party planning and catering services. Restaurant impresario Phil Romano, who founded such chains as Romano's Macaroni Grill, Fuddruckers, and Cozymel's, created EatZi's Market & Bakery in 1996. He is still part of an investment group that owns the company.
