Ducati puts up its Dukes when it deals with Monsters. Ducati Motor, whose red racing machines are known as "Dukes," builds Monster high performance motorcycles; it also makes sports bikes (Multistrada and SportClassic), as well as a branded line of clothing. Although many "Ducatists" prefer performance over comfort, Ducati has attempted to expand into new markets with products such as touring bikes and a supermoto model. The company operates over 150 Ducati Stores in major Italian cities, as well as in New York, Frankfurt, London, Cape Town, Tokyo, and Sydney, and sells its motorcycles worldwide. Italy and the US are the company's largest single markets. Performance Motorcycles S.p.A. controls 85% of Ducati.
