Overview

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction quenches the world's thirst for power and water. The Doosan subsidiary builds nuclear, thermal, combined cycle, cogeneration, and hydro-power plants worldwide, with projects under way in China, India, South Korea, and the US, among other countries. Doosan Heavy also specializes in building seawater desalination facilities, in addition to water and wastewater plants. Through various other divisions, it builds highways, subways, high-speed railroads, tunnels, gas pipelines, office buildings, and apartments, and supplies casting and forging products and materials handling equipment. Doosan Heavy was established in 1962.
