Direct Energy offers natural gas and electric service to more than 5 million customers across 10 provinces in Canada, 21 US states (Texas, the US Northeast, the Midwest, and the South) through its CPL Retail Energy, Direct Energy, and WTU Retail Energy brands. The Centrica division also offers home energy conservation programs and comprehensive energy services for businesses. Its Residential Services Group provides HVAC and plumbing installation services, as well as repair and maintenance services to home builders and homeowners in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and 11 US states. Direct Energy also generates 100 million cu. ft. of natural gas every day in Alberta.
