The world's largest luxury travel retailer, DFS (Duty Free Shoppers) runs some 150 stores in 14 countrires, located primarily in the Asia/Pacific region. The stores offer upscale brands of cosmetics and perfume, jewelry, liquor, tobacco, apparel, and other luxury goods. Business at DFS Group's airport concessions has rebounded after plunging following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. While famous for its airport stores, DFS also runs about a dozen Galleria centers in downtowns and upscale resorts. DFS is owned by French conglomerate LVMH and its co-founder Robert Miller.
