Overview
Operating the autobahn on the global information superhighway, Deutsche Telekom is a leading telecom company in Europe and one of the largest carriers in the world. The company serves about 128 wireless phone customers domestically and in other countries through its T-Mobile brand. It is also Germany's #1 fixed-line telephone operator; its T-Home unit provides domestic and international wireline long-distance voice services to about 34 million access lines. Additionally, T-Home is a leading ISP with about 15 million broadband subscribers and it offers other data and multimedia services such as Entertain-branded Internet television. Deutsche Telekom's T-Systems division specializes in IT services for businesses.
