One of the world's largest makers of auto parts, Delphi makes nearly everything mechanical and electrical/electronic that goes into cars. Its primary business divisions include Electrical/Electronic Architecture (vehicle electrical systems), Powertrain Systems (engine management, fuel, and emissions systems), Electronics and Safety (sensors, security systems, seat belts, airbags, navigation and entertainment systems), and Thermal Systems (climate control, radiators, heat exchangers). About 37% of Delphi's business comes from former parent GM. Delphi filed Chapter 11 in 2005.
