DDi takes a dynamic approach to manufacturing. DDi provides time-critical electronics design, fabrication, and assembly services for makers of communications and networking gear, computers, medical instruments, and military equipment. The company produces complete electronics systems, as well as subsystems, such as printed circuit boards (PCBs), backpanels, and wire harnesses. Its more than 1,000 customers include electronics manufacturers, such as Intel and Tyco Electronics. Nearly half of orders are filled within 10 days, and some are turned around in 24 hours. DDi derives nearly all of its business from customers in North America.
