Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB)
Overview
Cubic equips people to fight their way through both enemy and subway lines. For the former, it makes combat simulation training products; for the latter, it makes automatic fare collection (AFC) systems. Besides training systems, Cubic's defense segment provides training and support services to military forces and makes electronic communications and surveillance equipment. On the transit side, Cubic's AFC systems are installed worldwide in cities such as London, New York, San Francisco, Sydney, and Washington, DC. The US government accounts for about 54% of Cubic's sales; other government entities, both in the US and abroad, account for most of the rest.
