Which came first, the chicken or the egg? CTB might claim it's the chicken feeder. CTB makes automation, feed, and storage equipment for the poultry, swine, grain, and egg industries under such brand names as Agro Logic, Chore-Time, Brock, and Fancom. CTB's integrated environmental feeding systems for livestock include heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment and poultry nests. It maintains facilities in Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and the US. Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway purchased the formerly public company in late 2002 for about $180 million.
