Crosstown Traders Company Description
Crosstown Traders swaps clothing and footwear -- not just across town, but with shoppers across the country via its many catalogs and related e-commerce sites. The company's catalog of catalogs is targeted at the growing population of older consumers (55 years old and up) and includes Old Pueblo Traders, Bedford Fair, Willow Ridge, Intimate Appeal, Brownstone Studio, and Coward Shoe, to name a few, all of which peddle women's shoes and apparel. The direct retailer also operates several outlet stores. Formed in 2002, Crosstown Traders was acquired by Charming Shoppes in 2005 and later sold to direct-marketer Orchard Brands for $35 million in 2008.
