Overview

Coventry Health Care covets the idea of good health for all. Through numerous local health plans, the firm provides health care coverage to millions of members in 24 markets primarily in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast. It offers HMO, PPO, and point-of-service (POS) plans to employer groups, as well as Medicare Advantage, prescription drug coverage, Medicaid managed care plans, and other coverage directly to individuals. Its Specialty unit administers workers' compensation programs, providing services such as bill review and case management to insurers and employers; it also administers network rental and pharmacy benefit programs.
