Cooper Industries likes to keep customers from blowing a fuse. The company's electrical products segment makes circuit protection equipment, as well as lighting fixtures, wiring devices, and other power management and distribution equipment for residential, commercial, and industrial use. Its other main business segment manufactures power tools for the industrial market and hand tools for the do-it-yourself and commercial markets. Major electrical product and tool brands include Buss fuses, Capri conduits, Crescent pliers and wrenches, EMSA power transformers, Plumb hammers, and Weller soldering supplies. Cooper serves markets throughout the Americas, Asia, and Europe, with the US as its largest.
