A subsidiary of US agriculture giant ConAgra Foods, the company manufactures food ingredients such as spices and flavorings (Spicetec); dehydrated and pureed vegetables, garlic, chilies, and onions (Gilroy Foods); and grain products for use in the baking industry (ConAgra Mills). In 2008 the company combined the operations of Gilroy Foods and Spicetec to create Gilroy Foods & Flavors. ConAgra Food Ingredients operates as part of its parent company's Food and Ingredients division, along with Lamb Weston and ConAgra Foodservice.
