Company Description
Zhongpin lives high on the hog. The company is one of China's largest pork processors, offering chilled fresh and frozen cuts of pork, as well as prepared meats such as sausage and ham, and pork byproducts. Its 12 processing plants produce about 565,000 tons of meat every year. The company also processes and markets more than 20 kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables grown by contracted growers in China's Henan province. Zhongpin's distribution network spans 20 Chinese provinces and includes major cities, such as Beijing and Shanghai.
