The company operates the famous Zabar's store at 80th Street and Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, a catalog, and a Web site for online shopping. Murray Klein, a part owner and the public face of Zabar's for more than 30 years died in 2007. Klein, who retired in 1994, helped transform the store from a Jewish deli to a West Side culinary and cultural landmark.
