X-Rite has an eye for color. Its products help manufacturers, retailers, distributors, printers, and graphic designers achieve a consistent color appearance. Using spectrophotometers and colorimeters, its color measurement products check that fabrics, paints, and plastics are the correct shade. Its color standards product line uses densitometers to measure optical and photographic density and control color for processing textiles, film, and inks. Products include paint matching systems for retailers, sensitometers for manipulating photographic film exposure, and color formulation software for PCs.
