Company Description
The Wilson Farms cornucopia has runneth over for many a year now. Back when the farm began growing fresh vegetables in 1884, James Wilson and his brother-in-law George Reynolds carted their harvest to Boston. Now Bostonians and shoppers from all over come to the Lexington, Massachusetts store, a couple farm stands, 33 acres of farmland, and 37,000 sq. ft. of greenhouse, to enjoy the bounty of the company's vegetables, cut flowers, bakery, cheeses, deli items, meats, and fresh eggs. In addition to its on-site sales, Wilson wholesales its harvest. Four generations later, the Wilson family still runs the operation, which includes the original farm in Lexington and a 500-acre farm in Litchfield, New Hampshire.
