Company Description
Wilmar International Limited is among Asia's largest agribusiness groups. The company grows, refines, and sells palm, soy, and other edible oils and grains. It is divided into three units: plantations for growing palm and rubber trees; processing plants for refining the oil and grains; and a consumer division, which sells the oils in China, India, and Indonesia. As part of its business, Wilmar also makes and sells fertilizer and palm-based biodiesel sold in Europe and the US. Wilmar boasts operations in 20-plus countries on four continents and owns more than 300 processing plants across Southeast Asia. It sells its products in 50-plus countries worldwide. Beyond agribusiness, it's acquiring property in China.
