Wilhelmina International has a new face. Formerly a billing services and software provider serving the telecommunications industry, New Century Equity Holdings reinvented itself as a holding company and in 2009 acquired Wilhelmina International -- the company responsible for the iconic modeling agency Wilhelmina Models. The $30 million transaction also included affiliates Wilhelmina Miami, Wilhelmina Film & TV, and Wilhelmina Artist Management. Upon the deal's closure, New Century changed its name to Wilhelmina International, reflecting its new primary business focus. The Wilhelmina deal came after more than four years of scouting new investment opportunities. To read the full description, subscribe now.
