An imprint of DC Entertainment , WildStorm publishes a variety of books including Ex Machina, GEN13, and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. It also publishes books on licensed properties such as Supernatural and The Lost Boys. In addition to the WildStorm imprint, the firm also publishes comics under the America's Best Comics name. Former X-Men artist and current WildStorm editorial director Jim Lee started the company in 1992 when he and other fellow artists left Marvel to form the creator-owned firm, Image Comics (the third-largest comic company).
