Company Description
Westsphere Asset Corporation is a holding company that focuses on privately owned banking services in Canada. Saddled with debt and mounting losses, the company restructured in 2009, and combined most of its businesses under its Westsphere Systems subsidiary. Westsphere Systems absorbed Vencash Capital that year and took over its management of more than 800 mostly privately owned, so-called "white label" automated teller machines (ATMs) and point of sale (POS) payment processing machines. Another subsidiary, E-Debit International, which provided pre-paid debit cards, was also consolidated under Westsphere Systems. Its Kan-Can Resorts time-share resort subsidiary was dissolved.
