Company Description

Turkey is the main dish at West Liberty Foods, but the company has room for other meats on its plate as well. In addition to slaughtering and processing turkeys, the company also prepares and slices pork, chicken, ham, beef and cheese into value-added meat products (luncheon meat, deli trays) for retail and foodservice customers, including the Subway  sandwich shop chain. West Liberty operates four production facilities (three in Iowa and one in Utah). It co-packs branded meats for bigger companies and also offers private-label services. The company's commodity products include deboned turkey, ground turkey, turkey parts, and premixed meat slurries which it supplies to other food processors.
