West Coast Bancorp is the holding company for West Coast Bank, which has more than 60 branches and offices serving communities in western Oregon and western Washington. Targeting area consumers and businesses, the bank offers standard services such as checking and savings accounts, credit and debit cards, and CDs. Funds from deposits are mainly used to originate loans, primarily commercial mortgages, as well as residential mortgages, business loans, and consumer loans. The bank also offers equipment leasing and merchant services. Another subsidiary, West Coast Trust provides trust and fiduciary services, asset management, and life insurance. West Coast Bank was established in 1925 as The Bank of Newport.
