Weis (pronounced "Wise") Markets, founded in 1912, runs about 165 grocery stores, mostly in Pennsylvania but also in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and West Virginia. In addition to the Weis Markets banner, the company also runs stores under the Mr. Z's Food Mart, King's Supermarkets, Save-A-Lot, and Scot's Lo-Cost names.
