Consumers can prime and tape the heating wire directly to the subfloor before laying tile over it. Warmup also manufactures solid stone electric radiators and thermostats. It has sold more than half a million underfloor heaters in the UK, with additional dealers selling its products in France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, New Zealand, South Africa, and the US. Warmup estimates that insulated underfloor heating results in 10-15% in energy savings compared to conventional central heating. The company was founded in 1994.
