Vue (pronounced "view") owns and operates approximately 60 movie theaters (with more than 600 screens) throughout the UK and Ireland. Nearly all of its theaters feature stadium-style seating. The company is the leader in the London market; its flagship cinema is in London's famed West End theater district. Vue was formed in 2003 by the merger of Warner Village Cinemas and SBC International Cinemas. It is partially owned by Vue's management team; another previous shareholder was the Bank of Scotland , part of HBOS .
