UW Medical Foundation provides administrative services to more than 900 faculty physicians at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. The foundation, a not-for-profit organization, works in cooperation with the UW Hospital and Clinics and more than 60 other clinical group practices throughout the Badger State. The foundation coordinates clinical sites and provides technical and professional staffing services, as well as administrative function such legal, marketing, information technology, and logistics. UW Medical Foundation merged with Physicians Plus Medical Group in 1998 and with the University Community Clinics in 2003.
