University Health System (UHS) is all for one and one for Vols! Affiliated with the University of Tennessee's Graduate School of Medicine, the not-for-profit regional health system oversees the University of Tennessee Medical Center, a 580-bed hospital that serves the eastern Tennessee, southeastern Kentucky, and western North Carolina regions with a full range of medical services covering the brain, heart, lung, spine, and vascular system, as well as cancer, childbirth, and emergency trauma. UHS is also comprised of an independent physicians' association and has partnerships with a clinical laboratory services provider and a group dedicated to helping patients involved in pharmaceutical clinical trials.
